Anyway, i got good news and bad news. Good news: more comics are COMING!!! after reading twokinds and watching cowboy bebop and re-analyzing how simple most of the characters and backgrounds can be i thought, 'Hell i can do this kind of stuff' so i just started practice with the Noir thing and then did it yesterday with Glaive and oscar, (gunner's father and the doc) and it turned out real well in my sketchbook. when i get some more time i'll do them on print paper and submit them here. also i figured a basic idea on how to draw women...hopefully. T_T critique is real crucial so i know what i need to work on. I'M IN A BAND I almost forgot to mention that. And they actually know what the hell their doing. YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSHHH But even if i make it big i'd still be on DA submitting stuff when i could Bad News: work has us working for 13 day weeks the rest of the year. that means every two weeks we get one day off. X( that's gonna drive me nuts and band practice may become slowed depending on what i do. i might be able to work two shifts and get two days off instead but meh we'll see. luckily i work the nightshift so if it really gets down to it i can just go to practice during the day. Also most of the deviations are gonna be sketches mostly of women. I WILL LEARN HOW TO DRAW THEM GODDAMMIT!!! ok that's all for now. c ya

Globman here back from being away for way too long. I tried taking a break to find what i really wanted. What that is, i don't exactly know. But i will tell you when i find out. I realized however it easier to find something when you have more than one set of eyes searching. I'm sorry i haven't updated in a while. i went through two different jobs and two car accidents as well needless to say life has been interesting. My main fear is staying forever at one job doing that for the rest of my life and not being able to do anything else or even have fun. But eh, I've been searching for the ultimate job that's constantly like a vacation when I've actually been wasting my time and talents. as egotistical as that may seem, i've been sitting and waiting for people to come to me. Now which seems more Egotistical? Anyway after reading an excellent comic called TwoKinds i realized i could make my own and slowly progress like many artists here on DA and elsewhere have. Hopefully you'll see the WN Noir comics on here, Basically the WN placed in a 1930's setting with different names. sorry bout the deviations and stuff. i'll look at them when i can and comment as necessary. Remember one of my journal entries where i said you can find something that's normally hard to do, simple in photoshop?

Well thanx to (in all seriousness i'm actually thanking this person for their tutorial) i felt like having someone slam a baseball bat against my head and saying "DUH DUMBASS"

I was told to use the pen tool to trace line art. and for some reason i kept using anchor points and not the paths. when i saw the tutorial i slapped my forehead and said "DOI!.....ow..."

Yeah then you can also add anchor points and adjust the thickness of the marks....i'm testing it on on my quick sketches and seeing how far i can go with it for now. But i gotta give a big thanx to
